Saute onion and garlic in sprayed pan (large enough to accomodate all the ingredients when done)on med. heat. When onions are translucent add the two cups of rice and let saute for two minutes, stirring. Add tumeric, chicken broth and water and cover and cook for 30 mins. on low heat. 15 mins before serving add the canned salmon.
