1.5 cups of yellow corn meal
3 egg whites
1 chive, chopped finely
1/2 lemon juiced
2 tbsp of Texas Pete (hot sauce)
2 tsp of Cajun Seasoning (creole salt)
2 tbsp dill, dried
1 tsp extra virgin oil olive

Here is how you make Melanie's Spicy Salmon Cakes:

1. Open can of salmon and place in a medium bowl, make sure all skin and bones are removed.2. Combine all the ingredients, except olive oil, into the bowl and break up chunks of salmon so that mixture is completely combined.3. Heat oil olive over medium-high heat in a skillet. 4. Create about 8 patties about 3 inches across and 1/4 inch thick, one easy tip so that they don't fall apart is to create a ball in your hand then slowly flatten it between your palms so that no small pieces fray off from the patty. Place as many of the patties into your skillet (all patties may not fit).5.
