makes 6 cups (4 - 1.5 c serving)in a large soup pot melt butter and add chopped onion. heat on low until onions are translucent (about 3 min). add flour, curry powder and paprika - slowly continue to heat and stir well. slowly add in warmed chicken broth and stir continuously. bring to a boil for 1 min.
