Here is how you make Runza Casserole:

Brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion. Drain. Add the cabbage, cover, and steam. Add salt and pepper.Use one tube of crescent rolls to form crust in a greased 9x13 pan. Pinch seams to do so. Place beef mixture over crust. Add cheese. Use second tube of rolls to form top crust. Pinch seams to do so again. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
