Here is how you make Black Forest Brussel Sprouts:

Quarter the sprouts, unless they are smaller in size, then just halving them also works.Dice the onion.Slice up all the other veggies. I used the more delicate stalks AND the leaves at the center of the celery bunch. In a steamer basket, steam all but the onion and bacon.slice the bacon into small strips while heating a pan with a 2 Tbs of canola or olive oil within. Add the onions until they are browned and then add the bacon. (If using real bacon, no oil is needed the bacon provides it and you can cook the bacon and onions at the same time).When the bacon/onion mixture is ready, add the veggies and stir.
