How Do I Make Black Lentils?

Here is how you make Black Lentils:

Clean, wash and sock lentils in 3/4 cups water for 6 to eight hours. Drain, place in a thick bottomed vessel, add salt and four cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover and cook on low heat until lents are almost done and half of the liquid has evaporated. Add ginger-garlic paster, stir and mash the lentils lightly using a spoon. Add tomato puree, red chilli powder and half tablespoon of white butter and continue to cook for another 6 to 8 minutes. Add fresh creeam and cook further for 10 minutes.
