-Whisk the yogurt until smooth and mix in the sugar, set aside-heat the oil in a pan just big enought for the onions and add the mustard & fenugreek seeds. When they start to pop, add the ginger, asefetida, & chile. Cook, stirring, for a minute to bring out the flavors. Add the onions and lower the heat. Let them cook about 10-15 minutes to soften.-pour the onion mixture into the yogurt and mix through. Add salt and cilantro.
