Here is how you make Tuscan Beans with Ditalini:

Makes 6 1/2 cups. Serving size: 1 1/2 cups. Remove sausage meat from casing, brown in olive oil. Add onion and red bell pepper, chopped. Cook until meat is brown through and through. Add beans and stir well. Meanwhile, boil water for pasta. Cook until just shy of al dente. Retain 1/2 cup of pasta water. Season bean mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Add hot sauce to taste (optional). Fold in pasta and reserved pasta water. Combine and cook on simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until flavors are combined.
