Add your beef to a hot pan and brown, make sure to drain any excess fat off before adding any further ingredients.2. Add onion and garlic cook until soft.3. Add your chopped vegetables, parsley, half the basil, cumin and flour and cook stirring for one minute.4. Add the tomato paste, red wine, balsamic vinegar and canned tomatoes and bring to a slow boil.5. Add half your Parmesan and simmer for at least 20 mins (the longer you simmer this the better it comes out! Add a little water if the sauce becomes too thick).6.
