Here is how you make Chicken in Balsamic Marinade:

In a large bowl, combine vinegar, oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Toss chicken in marinade, cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 4 hours. Turn the chicken often. Spray a large heavy skillet with non-stick cooking spray, and heat over high heat. Place chicken in skillet, reserving the marinade, and saute to a deep golden brown. Reduce heat, adding the reserved marinade, onion slices and mushrooms.
