1 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 tsp reduced-fat parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg white
1/2 tsp 1% milk
1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp finely chopped parsley leaves
1/4 cup Newman's Own Marinara Sauce
1 oz Kraft 2% shredded mozzarella
1/2 oz parmesan cheese


How Do I Make Chisled Chicken Parmesan?

Here is how you make Chisled Chicken Parmesan:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them flat to an even 1/3 of an inch. In a small bowl, mix the flour, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.Make sure chicken is as dry as possible and dip one piece into the flour mixture until coated on all sides. Shake off excess flour and place on dinner plate. Repeat with second breast. Cover plate with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 minutes.In a shallow bowl, use fork to lightly beat egg white with the milk. In another shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs and parsley. Dip floured breasts, one at a time, in egg mixture. Allow excess egg to drip from the chicken, then coat with breadcrumbs. Dip back into egg then back into breadcrumbs. Place the chicken side by side on baking sheet sprayed with PAM. Bake in oven 7-9 minutes per side until chicken is no longer pink. Just before the chicken is completely cooked, heat the marinara sauce until job hot. Top each breast with half of the marinara, followed by half the mozzarella, then half of the parmesan. Bake for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve hot with a side of pasta and/or a green salad.Serving Size:?Makes 2, 4oz portions
