Remove and set aside. Add the onions and garlic and saute until soft. Add the chicken broth (or wine) and reduce by half. Add the can of crushed tomatoes and add salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar (to cut down acidity of tomatos) and let simmer for about 30 minutes. After simmering add the chicken thighs back to the sauce and let simmer again for another 15 minutes. Serve over al dente linguine and top with parmesean cheese.
