Heat a large stockpot with tap water and put on the stove on high heat.2. Heat a separate 3 quart saucepan over medium heat.3. When hot (a few drops of water sizzle on the bottom of the pan), add olive oil.4. Next, add diced onion and 5 shakes of black pepper.5. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring periodically, until the onions begin to turn translucent.6. Add sliced mushrooms and stir.7. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring periodically.8. Add raw chicken pieces and stir.9. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring periodically.10. Add chopped peppers and stir.11. Add can of tomato puree, stirring to combine. After pouring out the can of pureee, add a few ounces of water, swirl around to mix with the remainder of the puree, and pour the contents into your pasta sauce pan, stirring.12. Cook until it has been simmering for 5 minutes, then add in spinach, stirring to combine.13. Turn heat to lowest setting to keep sauce warm14. Meanwhile, when your pan with water has come to a boil, add your entire box of pasta.15. Stir your pasta and cook to your preferred texture (approx. 10 minutes, or as directed on the box)16. Stir your pasta sauce a couple times as your pasta is cooking.17. Put your colander in the sink and when your pasta is cooked to the desired texture, slowly pour your pasta into the colander to drain.18. Serve 1 cup of pasta and 1 cup of sauce per serving.17.
