Add salt and pepper and stir in red grape tomatoes. Cook down until the grape tomatoes "squish" easily on the side of the saucepan. Crush them with the back of your spoon and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Pour the diced tomatoes in and scrape the bottom of the pan (like you were de-glazing it). Turn the heat to low and simmer 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally so that the sauce doesn't stick. Add the basil and oregano and simmer for 10 more minutes.
