2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
10 oz. bag of baby spinach leaves
1 T worcestershire sauce
steak seasoning to taste
2 cups cooked brown rice
1/2 part skim ricotta cheese
2 large bell peppers (any color)
1 small can of tomato sauce
2 slices of mozzarella cheese


How Do I Make Turkey and Rice Stuffed Peppers with a Twist?

Here is how you make Turkey and Rice Stuffed Peppers with a Twist:

Wash, clean and seed peppers. Cut the peppers in half lengthwise. Place in casserole dish with a few tablespoons of tomato sauce, set aside. Brown ground turkey, onion, and garlic and olive oil till no longer pink. Add worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Wilt spinach leaves into the meat mixture. Then add rice and ricotta cheese till warmed through. Stuff and divide mixture between the peppers. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees till peppers are tender. Top each pepper with half a piece of mozzarella cheese. Uncovered, place dish bake into the oven till cheese is melted.
