Boil 5 whole wheat lasagna noodles and 4 regular lasagna noodles for 12 minutes. Rinse in cold water, drain & set aside.2. Brown sausage until cooked through. Drain any fat and set aside.3. In a small bowl, Mix egg whites, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, 1 tsp ground black pepper and 1/2 tsp. dried italian seasoning. set aside.4. In a medium bowl, combine can of spaghetti sauce with can of tomato sauce. ADD Turkey sausage. set aside.5. Spray 9x13 glass baking pan with non-stick cooking spray (like PAM). 6. spread 1/4 of spaghetti sauce mixture into bottom of 9x13 pan.7. Top with three lasagna noodles.8. Top noodles with 1/2 of cottage cheese mixture.9. Top noodles with 1/4 of spaghetti sauce mixture.10. Sprinkle noodles with one-third of mozzerella cheese11. Repeat steps 7 - 10.12. Top with last three noodles and remaining sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzerella cheese.13. Cover pan with foil (spray inside of foil with non-stick cooking spray so cheese doesn't stick to foil during baking) and place pan in preheated oven.14. Bake for 40 minutes @ 35015. Remove foil. 16. Sprinkle with dried parsely if desired (to add color)17. Place uncovered pan back in oven, and bake for 15 - 20 more minutes.18. Remove from oven, and let sit for 15 minutes.19.
