Here is how you make Oatmeal Drop Cookies:

Get all ingredients out and measured. Lay out a kitchen size towel and cut off a sheet of waxed paper to put on top of that.Over a medium heat, melt butter then add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a FULL boil. Then time it 2 minutes as you continue stirring. Take off burner and add the vanilla and mix well then add dry oats and mix with a wooden spoon till all oats are fully coated and mixed well.Immediately drop by slightly heaping, rounded teaspoon onto waxed paper.
