This is a recipe that I use when I don't feel like eating meat or anything that will make me feel puffy and heavy. It is very filling and can be had with a small baked potato. If you feel like adding meat then you can add cooked and diced chicken breast or any other type of cooked meat that is to your taste. What Are The Ingredients For Cabbage with a flair Recipe?The ingredients for Cabbage with a flair are: 2 cups raw carrots sliced thinly.2 cups cabbage chopped. 1 cup chopped or sliced red ripe tomatoes 1 cup bell pepper chopped (the more colourful the better) 1 small raw scallion chopped finely 1 small onion chopped 2 cloves garlic chopped Dash of salt Dash of black pepper (to taste) 50 raisins( more if desired, this is about a handful) 1 tbs coconut oil(or any other oil that is low in cholesterol) How Do I Make Cabbage with a flair?Here is how you make Cabbage with a flair: Chop the cabbage wash and set aside. chop the other ingredients that require chopping and set aside in individual containers. Slice raw carrots thinly so that they can cook quickly but not be too soft, as the crunch adds to the tastiness of the meal. Place a large skillet over a medium flame, once hot pour the oil in. When the oil is hot saute the bell pepper, onion, garlic, scallion and tomatoes. Stir constantly for approximately 3 minutes, slowly add the cabbage, carrots, raisins, salt and black pepper. Cook for approximately 5 mins until the carrots are a little crunchy, not soft. (If you want to add meat then you can do so at this point, bearing in mind that the meat should already be cooked and be deiced or chopped). Turn off flame and remove skillet.
