1. Heat a medium ovenproof skillet or Dutch oven with olive oil. Brown chicken or turkey sausage over low heat until golden and cooked through. Remove the meat from the pan. When cool enough to touch, cut links into 1-inch-thick slices and reserve.2. While the pan is still warm, saut? onion and garlic in the sausage renderings with water (to prevent them from getting too dark).
