Here is how you make Vegetable - Chicken Soup:

Remove the broccoli buds, thinly slice stalks (should have about 2 cups buds and stalks). Set aside.In medium saucepan, combine chicken, water, onion, and celery. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is tender. Cut ,meat into short strips. Return chicken to cooking liquid.Stir in broccoli buds and stalks,chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
