2 green bell peppers
2 large onion
1 tbsp mustard powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
half cup whipped yogurt
1/4 cup cooking oil

Here is how you make Chicken Jalferezi:

Cut chicken, tomatoes, peppers and 1 onion into 1 inch cubes.Marinate chicken in mustard powder, chilli poder, turmeric, salt and 2 tbsp yogurt, for atleast 1 hour.Marinate onions and bell peppers in remaining yogurt before hand.Heat oil in a wok, fry 1 chopped onion till golden, then add tomatoes, fry for about 5 minutes, till they are soft.Add chicken, fry till all of the liquid is absorbed.Add marinated onions and bell peppers plus yogurt in the chicken. cook on high flame till chicken is completely cooked and oil comes to the surface.Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, jalapeno peppers and sprinkle some garam masala powder at the end.Serve hot on steamed rice.Serving Size: 2-3 cups Number of Servings: 3Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user FRAGILEDREAM.
