Here is how you make Dahl:

Bring all the lentils to a boil with 1/4 tsp of turmeric and 1tsp of grated ginger. Lower the heat and cook for 20 mins. Add 2 cups of chopped baby spinach and 1 cup of chopped cilantro. Cook for 10 mins. During this time saute for 3 mins the combination of these spices: 3 garlic cloves finely sliced, 2 red chillis chopped, 2 tsp of ground cumin, 2 tsp of whole cumin, 1 tbsp ground corriander, 1 tbsp of black mustard seeds.
