Here is how you make swedish meatballs:

Cook potatoes and make a puree (with nothing else than... potatoes). Now, put the veal into a bowl and add 3/4 of teaspoon of allspice, the salt, pepper if you wish. Add the potatoe purée, and grind the onion on the meat. Add the egg. Then puree the whole thing until all ingredients are perfectly mixed. Make meatballs (result is 16 meatballs). Cook with butter in your skillet. Cook at a pretty high temperature first, then simmer down and cover for 4 minutes.
