I got the idea for this from a magazine, but didn't have most of what went in it on hand, so I overhauled the idea and flavored it with what I had around! What Are The Ingredients For Quinoa Pie Recipe?The ingredients for Quinoa Pie are: .5 cup dry quinoa1 cup water 3/4 package of 16 oz pk frozen chopped spinach 1/2 pkg frozen chopped broccoli .75 Tbsp olive oil 2 small onions, thinly sliced 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese 3 tbsp tzaziki 1/2 cup egg beaters or 2 eggs .5 Tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper if desired How Do I Make Quinoa Pie?Here is how you make Quinoa Pie: Rinse and then gently toast the quinoa for about 3 minutes in a small dry saucepan, over medium heat. Stir to avoid sticking. Add one cup of water and stir. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer until the water is evaporated, 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat.Meanwhile, place the frozen vegetables in a large saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 7 minutes. Remove from heat and drain thoroughly. Heat the .75 Tbsp olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and brown the onions (about 7 minutes). In a large bowl, incorporate the cooked quinoa, spinach, broccoli, and onions. Crumble in the goat cheese and pour in the tzaziki and the egg beaters. Stir well to blend. Add salt and pepper if desired.With nonstick cooking spray, grease a 9 inch pie-pan. Press the mixture into the prepared pie pan and put into a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Drizzle with .5 Tbsp olive oil and return to the oven for 20 more minutes.
