Dice these into medium to large chunks. Break up the asparagus into bite size pieces, add to microwave safe dish with 2 tablespoons water, and microwave on high for 3 minutes (1100 watt oven). Drain the water. Shell the shrimp, and sautee them on medium high in the white wine in a nonstick skillet until they become opaque and pink, about 3-4 minutes. Discard the leftover cooking liquid, or save for another use. Chop each shrimp into small bite size pieces. Chop the chives into small pieces.
