First, choose your fruit/veg:1 apple, cored and shredded or chopped finely (do not peel) OR 1 medium banana OR 1/2 C cooked/canned pumpkin puree (not pie mix!) Now, choose your liquid: 1/2 C chai tea (yummy + caffeinne!!) OR 1/2 C water (if you don't want a strictly chai flavor) The Rest of the ingredents: 1/4C dry rolled oats 6oz. plain, vanilla or honey greek yogurt - 0% fat 1/4t each of ground ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg (mostly if you didn't choose chai) How Do I Make 3-Way Warm Smoothie?Here is how you make 3-Way Warm Smoothie: Place your fruit and liquid in a blender (or food processor - my preference) and whir until well blended. Add your oats and spices until the oats are well crushed, then your yogurt. Taste and add sweetener, if desired (not included in calculations - stevia, monk fruit or honey)Pour into saucepan and heat until steaming. OR pour into microwave safe container to heat now, or bring along and heat later!!Nutritional Info: Calculations are using 1 medium banana - the highest calorie option.
