1 4oz can of chopped green chili peppers
1 large can (28oz) or 2 small (15ozs) of chili beans, mild or hot
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
1/4 to 3/4 cup of water
2 teaspoons of white sugar

Add chili powder, ground cumin, and 1-2 teaspoons of sugar (to help the tomatoes be less acidic). Mix well. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8 hours. About an hour before, cook the brown rice according to package directions for one serving or to total 1 cup. Add cooked rice to chili, stir, and continue cooking.
