Here is how you make Sunflower Granola Bars with wheat germ (with a savory version):

Pre heat oven to 300 F mix all ingredients in a bowlAdd egg last and beat egg with a fork before addingspread flat in a greased baking dish 13 x 9 bake on middle rack about 3 to 4 min on bottom burner and 3-4 min on top burner (watch carefully) remove and let cool a few min. Cut into about 18 bars and cool completly. Place cut bars on a large cookie sheet and put in 150 F oven for about 30 to 45 min. Check every 15 min or so and more frequently as you get closer to 45 min. They should be crisp and golden not too dark. Note: If you prefer, the bars still hold together with less honey (use just 1/4 cup) I add just a touch more salt and less honey (only 1/4 cup) and it becomes a crunchy savory treat.
