1 tube of reduced fat crescent rolls
1 lb. 90% lean ground beef
.5 cup chopped onion
.5 cup chopped bell pepper
2 cups canned tomato sauce
1 packet taco seasoning
2 cups canned pinto beans, drained
1 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar

Here is how you make Taco Bake - tmp:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread crescent roll dough into bottom of greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 5-6 minutes, remove from oven and set aside. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet with onions and peppers, drain any excess fat. Add tomato sauce, taco seasoning and drained pinto beans. Combine well. Spread over partially baked crust. Bake another 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven during last 2-3 minutes of baking, and spread shredded cheese over casserole. Return to oven until cheese is melted. Cut into 6 equal pieces.
