This is a kind of hybrid that started out as something else entirely, but ended up fabulous none the less. Spicy, savory, and crunchy these are good for a snack or paired with a salad for diner. What Are The Ingredients For Tiny Empanadas Recipe?The ingredients for Tiny Empanadas are: 1/4 to 1/2 yellow onion, chopped2 cloves minced garlic 1/2 Tbsp butter 1 lb lean ground beef 1 jalapenos, seeded with membranes removed, minced 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 Tbsp Ketchup 1/2 tbsp black pepper salt to taste cumin to taste (I think I used something insane like 1/2 tbsp) cayenne pepper to taste (ummmm, maybe 1 tsp) 1.5 Tbsp lemon juice 1/2 single serve pack of truvia 1/8 cup Cilantro, chopped pkg 12oz Wonton wrappers (I used the 2 inch square ones) Salsa How Do I Make Tiny Empanadas?Here is how you make Tiny Empanadas: Melt butter in a large skillet. Brown the garlic and onion then add beef and jalapenos. Cook till beef is almost done, and the pepper are tender. Add all those spices and stuff minus the cilantro, and cook until most of the liquid is cooked out. You can drain if you wish. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro.Lay out wonton wrapper and spoon beef mixture into the center. Wet the edges and around the beef with water on your finger (easiest way I think.) Lay another wrapper and top and seal around the edges (pressing the air our) my running your finger firmly around the edges. Fold two opposite corners to touching in the back, and the other two corners in the front making sure to wet so it will stick. Now do this 25 times, or however many wontons you have.Spray a cookie sheet and place the funky little wonton pillow empanads on it. Spray the tops with a little aerosol olive oil and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes will brownish and crunchy.Just an fyi. My spell check wants me to change wonton to "wanton."
