What Are The Ingredients For Debbie's "Swedish" Enchiladas Recipe?The ingredients for Debbie's "Swedish" Enchiladas are: 1 - 28oz can of Salsa or 3.5 cups of homemade2 bell peppers (chop) 1 onion (chop) 2 carrots (shredded) 1 handful of fresh parsley (chop) 1 - 10 count of whole wheat tortillas 1 lb of lean ground beef 1cup of shredded low fat cheddar cheese 1 can of black olives (optional - not included in cost) sour cream - optional scallions for garnish - optional How Do I Make Debbie's "Swedish" Enchiladas?Here is how you make Debbie's "Swedish" Enchiladas: Preheat oven to 350.1. Brown the ground beef in a large pan. Add the chopped veggies and parsley.2. In another large skillet/pan large enough to place the tortillas in - slowly heat the enchilada sauce (or salsa)3. In a large casserole dish add some enchilada sauce (or salsa) to teh bottom of the deach to keep the tortillas from sticking. Spread evenly as best you can.4. Put about 1 cup of sauce/salsa in the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly.5. Take 1 tortilla and dip into red sauce on both sides. Place in casserole dish. Add 1 large spoonful of meat mixture into middles of tortillas, add some shredded cheese, add a couple of olives, then roll tortilla and skoot/push towards end of casserole dish. Then repeat step 5 til finished. 6. Drip the rest of sauce onto top of enchiladas. Sprinkle leftover shredded cheese on top.7. place in oven at 350 degrees until cheese is melted on top.
