3 anaheim chiles
1 poblano pepper
1 jalapeno or serrano
1 medium onion, roughly chopped
4 cloves garlic
1 small bunch fresh cilantro
5-6 basil leaves
1/2 tsp ground cumin or to taste
juice from 1/2 lime
salt and pepper to taste



How Do I Make Roasted Tomatillo Salsa?

Here is how you make Roasted Tomatillo Salsa:

1.Preheat broiler to high and set pan or rack 8" from heat. 2. Broil tomatillos and peppers until lightly charred, about 10 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time. Place peppers in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Set aside for 10 minutes, then remove wrap and peel skin from peppers. 3. Add peppers, tomatillos, onions, garlic cilantro, basil, cumin and half of lime juice to bowl of food processor and roughly chop. 4. Taste salsa and add salt, pepper, and lime juice.
