Cut the stems off of the chiles and empty out the seeds. Cut the onion in a very large dice. Place chiles, onion, tomatillos and garlic in a small pot. Cover with water. Boil over medium high heat for 15 minutes or until tomatillos are light olive green.Allow to cool slightly.Spoon into a blender adding approximately 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the boiling water. Blend on a low, chop setting.
