What Are The Ingredients For Deb's Thin Cheese Pizza Recipe?

The ingredients for Deb's Thin Cheese Pizza are:

Thin Crust:
1 cup and 2-3 T cake flour
2 T extra virgin olive oil
1 envelope Fleishmann's Pizza Crust Yeast
3/4 t salt
1/2 c very warm water (hot tap water)
1 t sugar

Toppings
2 T extra virgin olive oil
1 t fresh garlic, finely minced
1/4 to 1/3 t sea salt
1/8 t black pepper
1 c Meijer Pizza Sauce (or your favorite brand- this is about 1/2 can)
1/4 c finely diced leek-white part
4 T dried Red Pepper Flakes (got mine from Penzey's spices)
1/2 c 2% Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
4 T finely shredded asiago cheese (I just grated my own from a block of asiago cheese)
1 to 2 t dry pizza seasoning (to taste - I used Penzey's Pizza Seasoning)


How Do I Make Deb's Thin Cheese Pizza?

Here is how you make Deb's Thin Cheese Pizza:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.Combine 1 c flour, dry yeast, salt and pepper in bowl. Add warm water and oil. Mix until blended, about 1 minute.Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough (dough should form a ball). Knead about 4 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic.Roll dough into 12 inch circle and place on greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Form a rim on edges. On lowest rack in oven, bake 7-8 minutes or until crust starts to have golden edges. Remove from oven. In a small bowl, combine 2 T olive oil, fresh garlic, salt and black pepper. With pastry brush, spread oil and garlic mixture on warm crust until evenly distributed. Sprinkle diced leeks and bell pepper flakes over oiled crust. Cover this with pizza sauce, using the pastry brush to smooth sauce into an even layer. Sprinkle dry pizza seasoning over pizza and then add cheeses, distributing evenly. Bake 8-9 minutes on lowest rack or until cheeses are bubbling and crust is slightly brown. Remove, cut and enjoy!Note: I baked mine on a bacon pan for the oven (wavy with holes in it), and it really made the crust nice and crispy. You could also use a pizza stone as well!Optional: If you have fresh basil, add 1-2 T thinly sliced when you add your dry pizza seasoning. Or sprinkle grated Parmesan/Romano cheese over warm pizza.
