If it did not, that means your yeast was bad or your water was too hot. 2. In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat four, 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour, salt, and garlic powder.3. Pour the yeast mixture and 2 tbsp olive oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir together until a dough forms. 4. Knead the dough for 6-9 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Add the remaining 1/2 cup all purpose flour if the dough is too sticky. If too dry, add warm water 1 tbsp at a time. 5. Coat a large, clean bowl with the 2 tsp olive oil.
