3 Red Peppers, sliced
2 Vidalia onions, cut into chucks

1 tbsp dried oregano
8 cloves of garlic, chopped


How Do I Make Davids Sauage and Peppers?

Here is how you make Davids Sauage and Peppers:

Add enough water to coat the bottom of the pan heat on medium high heat and add the sausage. Brown on all sides. Remove from the panAdd onions, peppers, and black pepper and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add basil and oregano and cook for another 2-3 minutes.Add tomato paste and stir. Add tomatoes and stir making sure to scrape the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer.While it is starting to simmer cut sausage into slices about 1/4 inch thick. Add back into pan and simmer on med low heat for about 40 minutes.Serve either in a bowl or with rolls.
