2 large sweet onions, sliced into rounds
1 cup of 2% or low-fat milk
3 large eggs
1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp of paprika
1/4 tsp of black pepper


How Do I Make Vidalia Onion Pie?

Here is how you make Vidalia Onion Pie:

Combine the 4 tbsp of butter and saltine crackers. Blend until moist. Using a fork, press into a pie pan.Melt remaining 1 tbsp of butter in a large frying pan. Saute onions in the butter until the onions are translucent. Meanwhile, mix together the milk, eggs and spices in a small bowl. Place the cooked onions in the prepared pie pan. Pour milk and egg mixture on top of the onions. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and bake at 400 degrees for a half hour.
