6 oz of kielbasa sausage
1/4 butter
1/2 cup green or red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
1 garlic clove-minced
2 Tbs flour
1 can petite diced tomatoes-(14.5 oz.)
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 tsp black pepper
optional 1 tbs Old Bay seasoning
3 cups cooked rice

Here is how you make Shrimp Creole:

Cook rice, while this is cooking, peel and clean shrimp.In med skillet melt 2 tbs of butter on medium heat. mix flour in until dissolved. Add tomatoes and juice, stir well till thickens. Set aside.In large skillet, melt the rest of the butter over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper, onion, celery and garlic, cook until soft but still crunchy. Add shrimp and kielbasa. Cook covered till shrimp are no longer transparent. (3 min.)Add tomato mixture, lower temperature, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
