What Are The Ingredients For MYO Seitan Recipe?The ingredients for MYO Seitan are: 1 1/2 cups gluten flour2 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 1/4 cups ice water 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tbsp tomato paste 4 cloves grated garlic 1 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp liquid smoke 1 tsp grated lemon zest ---Broth--- 10 cups water 1" piece fresh ginger 1/2 cup soy sauce How Do I Make MYO Seitan?Here is how you make MYO Seitan: In a large bowl (or standing mixer fitted with a dough hook) combine gluten flour and nutritional yeast.Seperately, mix remaining ingredients (except broth mixture).Pour into dry ingredients, combine well and knead 4 minutes (either by hand or mixer) until it is elastic.Cover and allow to sit 5 minutes.In a large pot, combine water, ginger and soy sauce.Roll dough into a log shape and cut into quarters.Place into the cold broth, partially cover the pot and bring it to a boil.Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, turning pieces occasionally, 1 hour.Remove pot from heat and allow gluten to cool completely in the broth.** You can store the gluten for later by covering it in broth and keeping it in the fridge. If your recipes call for seitan, cut pieces into equal portions.
