It makes a salad dressing with no added oil at all. Delicious enough to eat just as it is, with a spoon and without any veggies. I feel free to use more of it than I would if I were using purchased salad dressing. Sometimes I add a cup of lentil sprouts to what is in the blender. The lentil sprouts go down easier after blending with the orange and almond than if I just added them to the veggies in the salad. I don't feel the least bit inclined to use any salt at all. It is sweet, but goes well even on salad with onions. It is so yummy I don't mind having to wash the blender afterward.
