1/4 onion
1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes
3 cups raw baby spinach
1 15 oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed
1 T onion powder
1 T garlic powder
3 cups whole oats


How Do I Make Vegan Oatmeal Black Bean Burgers?

Here is how you make Vegan Oatmeal Black Bean Burgers:

Preheat electric griddle to 400? F.In a food processor chop the carrot and onion until finely minced. Add the undrained can of tomatoes and process to combine. In small batches add spinach and process until minced. Add the drained black beans, onion powder and garlic powder and process until smooth. Place the oats in a bowl, add the processed vegetable mixture and stir by hand to combine. Let mixture rest 2 minutes to hydrate the oatmeal. Scoop by 1/3 cups onto preheated flat electric griddle. Cook for five minutes, flip and cook another five minutes. Burgers can also be cooked in a non-stick pan.
