What Are The Ingredients For Swiss Chard and Lima Beans Recipe?The ingredients for Swiss Chard and Lima Beans are: 1 Head of Swiss Chard, washed3 TBSP oil 1 medium onion, diced 1 10 oz. frozen Lima Bean, defrosted slightly 3-4 Garilc, minced 1 1/2 tsp dried dill 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup chicken broth 99% fat free Black pepper to taste 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts for garnish How Do I Make Swiss Chard and Lima Beans?Here is how you make Swiss Chard and Lima Beans: Cut the stems of the chard in 1/2 inch dice and then layer the leaves, roll them up ans slice into thin pieces, at 1/2 inch intervals. Over meduim heat, warm 2 TBSP oil in large heavy pot or wok. When hot, add onion and stir-fry for a few mintuesuntil softened. Add the lima beans and garlic and stir-fry another few mintues. Then add the swiss chard stems and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes. Now add the leaves and dill and continue to stir-fry for 3 more minutes more. Add salt and 1/3 cup broth. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for about 15 minutes.
