1 1/4 Tbs instant yeast
2 1/2 C hot water
1 Tbs salt
1/3 C applesauce

Here is how you make Nine Grain Bread:

In a bread maker set to "dough", add first three ingredients and press start. While mixing, add water all at once. Make sure the bread maker mixes together all ingredients well. Sometimes the flour gathers in the corners and doesn't get mixed in. Let mixer do one "rest" cycle. When machine resumes mixing, add the rest of the ingredients. Add a little white flour as needed if dough is still sticky. When cycle is finished rising again, turn dough onto oiled counter top. Divide into two loaves; place in oiled bread pans. Let rise in warm oven 30 minutes or until dough rises an inch over top of pan.
