.15 cups of granulated sugar (1/2 of 1/4 cup)

Here is how you make No-knead bread (2/3 white, 1/3 wheat mix) - 1 loaf = 16 svgs:

About 9 to 18 hours before you want to cook the bread.... Put the water, wheat and whole wheat flour, yeast sugar and salt into a large mixing bowl. Stir until blended (about 3 mins max). Put some plastic wrap over the dough and place in a warmish place for 9 to 18 hours (warm kitchen counter is fine... I put mine on the clothes dryer!). DO NOT STIR OR REMOVE THE WRAP until you are ready to cook it. When you are ready to cook, turn on oven to 450 degrees, and place an EMPTY oven-safe casserole (like cast iron, corningwear or something like that -- must have a high-heat safe lid that fits!) into the oven WITH the lid on it for 30 minutes. While the pot preheats, use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently pull the dough away from the sides of the bowl. Add enough extra white flour to keep it from sticking to the sides of hte bowl - the dough will be VERY sticky, and don't try to knead it. Just nudge it into a ball shape and dust with flower. Replace plastic wrap and let it sit for 30 mins while the pan heats up. When the pan is ready, carefully (ITS HOT!!!) take it out of oven, toss the cornmeal into the bottom of the pan (it will act like little ball bearings and it won't stick!) and plop the dough into the hot pan. Replace the lid -- REMEMBER BOTH ARE HOT!!!! Immediately put pan back into the oven for 30 mins; after then remove the lid and continue cooking 15 more minutes. You can also form the dough into balls about the size of 2 golf balls and make rolls... each roll is two pieces of bread... you will get 8 rolls.
