1 garlic clove
1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon old bay seasoning
hot sauce (optional)


How Do I Make Crab Cakes?

Here is how you make Crab Cakes:

1. Look through crabmeat to make sure it has no shells and reserve in the refridgerator.2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.3. Chop garlic, peppers, scallions and parsley in food processor or by hand until coarse.4. Place oil into large skillet over medium heat. Cook chopped vegetables with salt and pepper until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and reserve in a large mixing bowl.5. Once vegetables have cooled slightly, add the crab, eggs, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Worcestershire, mustard, Old bay seasoning and a dash or two of hot sauce, if using, to the mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly but carefully so not to break up the crab too much.6. Form mixture into 2-inch round cakes.7.
