Preheat oven to 375Pour lentils in the bottom of 1.5 quart baking dish. Add water, tomatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, green pepper and seasonings. Stir slightly leaving lentils in liquid.Cover tightly with foil (and lid if you have one). Bake 1.5 hours or until tender.
