1 cup water
4 tbsp Promise Fat Free Margarine
1 - 16 oz. package of stuffing mix
1/2 cup chopped onion (any kind you prefer)
1/2 cup chopped celery (optional)
1 cup low-fat shredded cheddar or colby cheese
1 1/4 cups plain lowfat yogurt
3 oz shredded Asiago cheese (fresh, not jarred or processed)


How Do I Make Mushroom Casserole?

Here is how you make Mushroom Casserole:

Wash, chop and cook mushrooms with cooking spray in a skillet until tender, drain and set aside.In the same skillet melt 2 tbsp margarine and sautee onions and celery until tender. Add water and stuffing mix, stir well. Finish according to stuffing mix directions.In a separate bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese and yogurt.Lightly spray a casserole (13x9 inch) dish and layer mushrooms, yogurt mixture, then stuffing. Repeat until everything's been added, ending with stuffing. Scatter remaining margarine in pieces on top, and sprinkle with the Asiago cheese.Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
