Add the minced garlic to the pan and saute for 1 minute. Set the garlic aside.Beat the cream cheese with a mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add the half-and-half and mix until well combined. Stir in bacon, garlic, blue cheese, and chives. Taste for seasoning. I added a pinch of salt and a lot of pepper. Spoon the mixture into a small casserole dish or 4 (1-cup) ramekins.Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbly. Garnish with remaining walnuts and chives.
