1) Mix the salt and water in a large bowl. stir to dissolve.2) Slice the eggplant into 1 centimeter slices, and place into the large bowl with the water. Let the eggplant sit in the water for about 5 minutes, and then drain and pat dry. 3) Mix the oil and balsamic vinegar. Add the ground pepper and garlic powder. 4) Place the eggplant on the BBQ.
