Combine dry ingredients. Finely cube cold butter and mix into dry ingredients with a pastry blender until a coarse, crumbly texture is achieved. Make a well in the center of the mix and add the the milk all at once. Using a fork, lightly pull dry ingredients into the milk mixture, working from the outside of the bowl toward the middle till the flour is integrated. By hand, gently press dough into a ball and knead only 10 strokes. Turn onto a floured surface and roll to a 3/4" thick disc approximately 12-14" in diameter. Use a 2" biscuit cutter to make 20 or more biscuits. Place on a bakng pan with sides touching to help increase rise. Bake for 17-20 minutes in a 400? oven. Serve hot. Leftovers can be saved, split in half, buttered and reheated under a broiler.
